I am passionate about building secure infrastructure and continuously reviewing and testing my defenses within virtualized, enterprise environments.

My professional background is uniquely rooted in systematic management, technical proficiency, and poised, compartmentalized security. With prior experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments, I developed a strong foundation in operational auditing, foundational HIPAA compliance, and crisis mitigation. The technical nature of these skills translates directly into the high-pressure demands of incident response and security operations.

I hold an Associate's degree in Business, which provides me with a strategic understanding of how security initiatives must align with overall organizational risk and business objectives. To validate my technical foundation, I recently earned my CompTIA Security+ certification, passing the exam on my first attempt.

When I am not auditing virtual networks or building custom Splunk dashboards, I am usually focused on continuous learning and refining my defensive capabilities. The information technology landscape is always shifting and evolving. I am dedicated to keeping myself up-to-date and informed on the latest zero-day threats, NIST frameworks, and SCAP assessments. It is my goal to think like an attacker, and to understand the wide variety of methods that they use to exploit the attack surface of virtual, enterprise environments.
